About AstroGK

AstroGK is built and funded by the team behind ProvenGK, a goalkeeper glove brand, because we couldn't find good independent information on goalkeeping on artificial surfaces and decided the least-bad option was to build it ourselves and say so plainly.

That's the disclosure, up front. ProvenGK makes a glove aimed at artificial surfaces, so we have an obvious interest in this topic. You should factor that in when reading anything here.

The rules this site follows because of that

• ProvenGK appears in comparisons as one option among several, on the same terms as every other brand, never as the presumed answer.
• The durability test methodology is published before results, applies the same protocol to every glove, and negative results get published whichever brand they land on, including ours.
• No fake reviews, no fabricated data, no placeholder numbers dressed up as results. Where data doesn't exist yet, the site says "pending".
• Factual claims trace to the test methodology or are flagged as opinion from experience.
